Aim

The curriculum committee is dedicated to guiding, setting standards for, and overseeing academic programs to ensure the curriculum remains intellectually rigorous, well-rounded, and adaptive to the changing needs of the community — ultimately advancing the college’s mission, strategic goals, and the educational aspirations of its students.

Functions

  • Take charge of developing, executing, and updating the curriculum while recommending appropriate teaching and learning resources — including classrooms, laboratories, clinical settings, library materials, course content, and course management platforms.
  • Analyze outcome data and apply findings to refine the curriculum, thereby elevating academic quality and enhancing student achievement.
  • Align institutional curriculum with the directives, regulations, and benchmarks established by the university and Central Council.
  • Drive the institution's forward momentum by introducing and broadening the range of courses and academic programs available at the college.
  • Initiate, propose, and coordinate Continuing Education Programs aimed at advancing the knowledge base and professional competencies of the staff.
  • Conduct regular, structured evaluations of programs and courses to confirm they remain current, applicable, and aligned with the master plan.
  • Actively contribute to program review initiatives and accreditation procedures.
